Learning to dive with a UK based School 

Advantages 

Local, convenient

If you generally learn things quickly, both practical and theory, this can be a  very quick way for you to gain a qualification.

Learning to dive in UK waters usually means that you get to experience a very wide variety of conditions.

Disadvantages

Not always ideal, if you are struggling with a particular skill, due to commercial time constraints.

Student to pupils ratios may be larger than one to one.

Who are you going to dive with once qualified? Schools often have ‘Clubs’ associated with them, but these may be wonderful marketing opportunites for the School to sell more goods or services (training courses).
